The following four programmes are offered through CIPET JEE 2020:
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS PROCESSING & TESTING (PGD-PPT) POST DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS MOULD DESIGN WITH CAD / CAM (PD-PMD) DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS MOULD TECHNOLOGY (DPMT) DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY (DPT)
In order to take admission in CIPET, the candidate must have to clear the CIPET JEE 2020 exam. Apart from the exam following are the eligibility criteria of various courses :
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS PROCESSING & TESTING (PGD-PPT) Candidates must have 3 years Bachelor’s degree from any recognized board with science or Chemistry subject.
POST DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS MOULD DESIGN WITH CAD / CAM (PD-PMD) Candidates must have 3 years diploma in Plastic Technology, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making or equivalent from any recognized university.
DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS MOULD TECHNOLOGY (DPMT) Candidates must pass 10th level from any recognized board.
DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY (DPT) Candidates must pass 10th level from any recognized board.
The duration of courses are as followed
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS PROCESSING & TESTING (PGD-PPT) 2 years (4 semesters)
POST DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS MOULD DESIGN WITH CAD / CAM (PD-PMD) 1½ years (3 semesters)
DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS MOULD TECHNOLOGY (DPMT) 3 years (6 semesters)
DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY (DPT) 3 years (6 semesters)
Last date for submission of the online application form is May 22, 2020
The date of CIPET Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is May 31, 2020
Candidate may download their Admit card May 15, 2020 onwards.
The date of commencement of course is July 01, 2020

For the diploma courses the fee structure is given below

Yes, CIPET has a hostel facility in different centers.
Hostel room rent including all amenities is Rs.10,000/- per semester (excluding food, which will be paid in monthly basis)
CIPET JEE 2020 Admit Cards have only been issued to the candidates who have successfully submitted their applications. Candidates are able to retrieve their admit cards from the official website.The University clearly specifies that no candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination premises without a valid admit card. A valid CIPET JEE 2020 Admit Card contains the candidate’s name, exam details, candidate’s examination roll number, his or her photograph, and signature, along with the signature of an authorized signatory.

The CIPET JEE 2020 Result will be announced by the Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology, Chennai. Candidates can visit the official website to view and download their CIPET JEE 2020 Result.
After the results are announced, selected candidates will further be called for a counseling round. Candidates will be required to log in to their application portal to download the counseling letters, with the help of their registered mobile number, date of birth and captcha code. Once a candidate clears this round, he or she will be asked to pay off the admission fee for the engineering seat, he or she has been allotted.
Following below are the steps to participate in CIPET JEE 2020 counselling
Step 1: Online Registration Candidates will have to visit the official website of CIPET. Now do registration by filling the asked details. After the registration, log in the portal and click on link related to CIPET JEE 2020 seat allotment and counseling.
Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking Candidates will have to fill their preferred choice of college and course. Once the choice is filled, click on the “submit” button. Once choice has been locked and saved no further modification will be allowed.
Step 3: Seat Allotment Result The authority will declare seat allotment results after the choice filling process. Candidates can access their result from the portal. Candidates will also get SMS and email concerning allotment of college and course. Candidates will receive an allotment letter on their registered email id. The seat will be allotted based on preferred choice filled and availability of seats.
Step 4: Reporting at the Allotted College After declaration of the seat allotment result, candidates will have to report at the allotted college for seat confirmation. Candidates have to bring all their original specified documents for verification. Candidates will have to pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
